Subject to establishment approval, a vacancy may arise for a WO (Any) to serve as a Climate Assessment Facilitator at High Wycombe on Volunteer ex-Regular Reserve Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 30 November 2026 or earlier/later subject to candidate status.
The Whole Force Air People Engagement Team seeks to improve levels of ‘Employee Engagement’ throughout the Whole Force with the expectation that this will lead to a more productive, motivated, and committed workforce. We achieve this primarily by undertaking Engagement Visits to units, sharing and gathering information to support both unit and strategic-level planning and activity.
The role sits within the Climate Assessment element of the Team. Climate Assessments are a CO’s tool to understand the lived experience of personnel from across their unit. A Climate Assessment consists of both a survey and Insights sessions; this role is to support and lead the Insight sessions at Station/Units across the RAF.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Facilitation of Insight Sessions with individuals up to the rank of Gp Capt at RAF Stations/Units across the UK as part of the wider team.
- Providing the Visit Lead with feedback for the Visit report and any subsequent briefing material required.
- Attending meetings with Stn Welfare Committees and other key stakeholders such as the SWO to capture Station-wide themes during engagement visits.
- Supporting delivery of Climate Assessment insight sessions across other TLB’s on an ad-hoc basis.
Candidates should note that overnight travel will be required as part of this role. The team aim to stay in Military accommodation on site, however where this is not available, hotel accommodation is sought.
