Responsibilities:

  • Support SO1 Media Operations, Army Comms Branch in the provision of communications support (planning, advice, and execution).
  • In concert with Army Comms Branch and/or DDC, plan and execute media facilities, briefings, and handling for all events as well as unit level operations and exercises, agreed by C&E, which will support the ACP.
  • Provide the Army Comms Branch liaison to Army units, facilitate media access, and produce content for Army social media accounts.
  • Deploy on operations and exercises as an SO3 Media Ops or as a Media News Team or Combat Camera Team leader in support to wider Army Comms Branch outputs.
  • Provide media & communications advice, support, and training, as required, to Army units whilst training or preparing for operations.
  • Prepare and deliver written and verbal briefs on media & comms issues as required.
  • Provide a communications consultancy to Army Reserve units, assisting with content on a variety of channels and comms training as required.

Domestic Considerations: Should be able to deploy on operations and exercises in the UK and overseas.
