SO2 Infra provides key infra staff support to enable the Field Army to live, work, and train in support of warfighting capabilities at home and abroad.
Responsibilities:
- Support development of the infra function in HQ Fd Army, working to SO1 Basing & Infra.
- Provide staff support to LOC on infra requirements and assurance activities within UK and overseas.
- Support G1 (Personnel) Br HQ Fd Army with infra-related activities to improve the "lived experience" for all Army SP.
- Support staffing of Firm Base hard and soft facility management project requirements raised to HQ Fd Army.
- Build relationships with key infra stakeholders, particularly Fd Army 1/2* fmns, Army B&I, RC, JMCs, RICs, & DIO.
- Support Infra DLoD coherence for equipment projs and progs being received and fielded across Fd Army.
- Act as empowered Fd Army B&I rep at proj WGs; deputising for SO1 Basing & Infra at 1*/2* level infra meetings as directed.
