Responsibilities:

  • Principal Staff Officer responsible for the development of policy on Resettlement and personal education funding including ELC, SLC and PF HEFE.
  • Principal Staff Officer responsible for the development of Army Transition policy.
  • Negotiate with policymakers and deliverers, including OGDs, external education institutions, MoD (specifically TSLD), other Services, HQ Fd Army, HQ SJC (including APC) to ensure coherent policy development.
  • Represent Hd Pers Pol at tri-Service and MoD policy committees for Resettlement, Transition, and personal education.
  • Carry out ACA&I responsibility for Resettlement. (Policy as opposed to delivery).
  • Act at Training Requirements Authority for 1st Line and 2nd Unit Resettlement Information Staff training.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by SO1 L&D.
