1. Act as the staff lead for TLB(P) financial programming, planning, in‑year management and reporting within the Capability Directorate BLB on behalf of the Director.
2. Lead financial programming activity and seek to secure resource for the Directorate through the Strategic Planning Cycle (SPC).
3. Coordinate the allocation and prioritisation of funds to the Capability Directorate through the SPC, AP00 and Management Group (MG) screening processes.
4. Advise on, facilitate and expedite Business Cases, ensuring timely approvals and compliance with financial delegations, controls and assurance requirements.
5. Lead the planning, staffing and performance management of Futures’ input to the Army Command Plan (ACP) across the planning and in‑year reporting cycle.
6. Lead BLB Performance and Risk planning, staffing and reporting, including maintenance and management of Directorate data and submissions within SDSM.
7. Maintain oversight of Directorate governance, including risks, issues, assurance activity and opportunities, and manage escalation and elevation as required.
8. Ensure coherence between financial plans, delivery performance, risk and assurance activity in support of Directorate outputs and Army priorities.
9. Act as the primary staff interface with HLB, Finance Business Partners and Army HQ stakeholders on BLB financial planning, performance and risk matters.
