The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Army Reserve Light Cavalry. To deploy personnel in support of operations both overseas and in the UK with Regular units as individuals and as contingents. Command functional operation of SHQ when deployed and in co-ordination with SHQ routine maintenance and administration whilst in barracks. Step up SSM in their absence.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain currency in signals role competencies and qualifications.
  • Be Signals Army Reserve SME providing D&G and instructions on Sqn communication procedures and equipment.
  • Work closely with the Sqn BSM PSI to produce/write and execute effective Comms Plans.
  • Assist the Sqn CoC in the planning of Sqn Training and overall Training Programme.
  • Ensure that SHQ is correctly equipped to complete its functions and that all equipment is used, stored, deployed and maintained correctly.
  • Assist the Sqn BSM PSI to complete all mandatory Signals checks and inspections.
  • 1RO for all Corporals and below within SHQ; setting personal objectives with subordinates at the start of RPs, delivering MPARs and writing timely and accurate ARs.
  • Conduct role-related duties and additional duties as directed by Sqn OC/CoC.
