Fulfil the role of RQMS(T) within 214 MMR in support of HQ 214MMR both at home and deployed worldwide.
Responsible for the Regimental Equipment Entitlement (EE), and to ensure that the Regimental accounts are conducted and recorded in accordance with current regulations and procedures on the following: F&L, BOWMAN, URS.
Ensure JAMES is implemented and run in line with MJDI as per current regulation and procedures.
Responsible for the supervision of all sub unit SQMS Departments and accounts.
Confirm the UAA is monitoring the stocktaking and reconciliation team.
Ensure that all RVs are receipted within 24hrs where possible.
Oversee and manage the ET.
Oversee the management of URS.
Ensure all weapons are checked as per current regulations.
Conduct managerial snap checks as directed by the QM.
Must be familiar with the Unit Equipment Care Directive (UECD) in particular Chapter 2 Individual responsibilities and ensure that the correct register and forms are being used in line with the UECD within the technical areas.
You are the focal point between the Sqn Armouries.
Ensure that the Sqn weapons and ancillaries are cleaned and maintained in accordance with the current regulations and weapon cleaning/fault reporting registers (UECD) are completed and filed for audit purposes.
Manage the ET stock levels in accordance with current regulations and inform the QM of any critical shortfalls.
Ensure that your account holders are aware of the LSA&I question set and there is clear paperwork audit trail for the Logistic Support Team (LSA&I).
Deploy with the Sqn into the field on exercise and operations to manage EE requirements and if required, maintain a theatre EE account.
Provide cover for the QM/QM(T)/RQMS(M) in their absence.
