A vacancy has arisen for a AS1(T) Air Tech (W) to serve as SPT ENG SUP ARM STN ARMOURY at RAF Marham on a Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCo S), with an initial proposed start date of 11 January 2027 (or earlier depending on application process).
This post is within the Station Armoury - Engineering Support Flt located at RAF Marham.
The post holder will be responsible to the SNCO Small Arms for the performance of their duties, which will include the following:
- The maintenance and security of military small arms and associated equipment and the safe custody of privately-owned weapons held within the RAF Station Armoury.
- Understand military technical engineering publications and documentation.
- The issue, receipt and accounting of weapon indents.
- The completion of all related engineering documentation for maintenance tasks, including the use of the JAMES system.
JAMES experience desirable, however training can be provided.
- Be able to perform small arms bay duties as required.
- Assist when required with 25m range bookings, maintenance, and husbandry ensuring the range is safe for daily use according to the supporting policy.
