Unit Role: CLR 3 Cdo Bde RM
Position Role: SUPPORT TROOP VEHICLE TECHNICIAN SERGEANT.
Responsibilities:
- Support Troop ASG VT Sgt
- Carry out the technical and military duties of an OR6 VT1 on exercise and operations, both in the UK and overseas.
- Comply with and enforce standing orders, safe systems of work, risk assessments, health and safety at work regulations and technical publications.
- Manage the development of VT Class 2 and Class 3 subordinates.
- Under the direction of the ASG Art(V), forecast work and task subordinate VTs as required.
- Identify and report ES materiel requirements on the COSL and at weekly ASG production meetings.
- Liaise with the ASG USA to source ES materiel and deputise for the ASG Art(V) as required.
- Submit CANREQs to BEME as required.
- Achieve mandated Joint Theatre Requirements (JTRs) as required.
