Considerations: This post is based in Andover but a requirement for flexible working would be considered.

Current D Info guidance is for approximately 60% of working week to be spent in office.

Some travel (e. g. site visits etc) and occasional overnight duties may be required.

Position Role

Specialist physical security advisor to Army PSy A and to assist in the delivering of 4* level policy, compliance, assurance and guidance through Co C
Responsibilities:
1.

Provide specialist physical security advice, guidance and information to 2* Commands and AHQ Directorates to inform decision making.

2. Draft physical security policies, incorporating compliance and assurance changes as directed by Defence policy.

3. Provide routine physical security advice, support and direction to Fd Army, SJC, Regional Command, Bdes and JMCs.

4. Liaise with internal/external security reps and stakeholders to ensure compliance with current security policy.

5. Assist with collating the Protective Security Audit (PSA) requirement.

6. Provide advice into physical Security Risk Management (SRM) and Security Risk Estimate (SRE) procedures.

7. Liaise with external agencies (e. g. NPSA, DIO, Defence etc.) on physical security projects to ensure mandatory compliance or risk management options.

8. Provide suppport Army WARP with support on physical security investigations dedicated advice. Coord specialist SSG support to security projects.

9. Deputise for SO1 Physical Security when required.
