Working as part of a five strong team within Army Service Complaints, this post deputises for the SO1 Case Management Team Leads and manages
Service Complaints being investigated and decided by the Army Service Complaints Secretariat (ASCS).
Addiitonally, when required, the postholder will support Army Deciders and G1 staff, ensuring all complaints are effectively progressed through life from Admissibility to a Decision.
Roles and responsibilities
Engage with external Decision Bodies (DB) and G1 Staff to support investigations and achieve timely and fair resolution of Service Complaints (SC).

Through a detailed knowledge of SC policy, provide advice, direction and support to external DBs and G1 Staff and inform them of any policy changes.
3.
Using extensive J1 and military knowledge, contribute to Local Grievance Resolution (LGR) to support resolution prior to the Formal SC process.
4.
Manage and progress SC within SC Sec to final Decision, maintain records of all actions undertaken and update the Case Management System.
5.
Liaise with teams within SC Sec and with external DBs, G1 staff and outsourced investigators to progress and administer SCs.
6.
Conduct after-action reviews as part of the Lessons Learnt process, including monitoring redress implementation.
7.
BPT act as an IO iso the Case Management Team or an SO iso CAT, as directed by SC Sec and iaw business need.
8.
Deputise and undertake secondary duties and tasks as required by the Case Management Team Leads and Service Complaints Secretary iaw business need.
