Domestic Considerations: Incumbent will routinely work from home, but they may be required to travel occasionally to Andover for meetings. Occasional travel to visit supporting organisations (e.g. DBS) may also be required.

Position Role: Monitor, maintain and improve the Pers digital systems. Liaise with Army and other Service stakeholders to ensure that all systems are cohered and deliver an efficient service for the Army. Also responsible for conducting the duties of the Army’s Focal Point for the MOD’s primary HR system (JPA/DefHRS) and, as a member of the Digital and Data Delivery Hub contributing to other digital developments across the People Function. The role provides oversight and task direction for the Digital WO2, ensuring user support, engagement, assurance and delivery activity is prioritised and aligned to REGAIN objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Army desk lead for monitoring development, sustainment and change of Pers digital applications and systems.
  • Conduct the duties of the Army’s JPA Focal Point until system replaced by Def HRS.
  • Represent the Army’s requirements as a proponent for the development and implementation of Def HRS.
  • Conduct the duties of the Army’s Def HRS Focal Point.
  • Contribute to future development of other Army and pan defence Pers related digital projects including AI.
