Position Role: Lead desk-level Staff Officer in SJC OPS for all MS matters.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that MS professional and technical skills within SJC Operations are valid, monitored and up to date.
- Provide technical/policy advice to subordinate Depts on MS matters including liaising with APC (or appropriate RAF/Navy CM).
- Coordinate submission of SJARs/OJARs in SJC Operations including OOM conferences and assurance of reports prior to dispatch.
- Coordinate Military Honours and Awards procedures within SJC Operations and coordinate screening panels as required.
- Provide secretariat for Reg and Res MS Meetings/Boards as directed by Dir Operations.
- ATMS Coordinator for SJC Operations, tracking with APC all posts for boarding.
- Oversee and provide direction and guidance on MS procedures for SJC Operations Ops/Tasks.
- Be prepared to support all other pillars across SJC Operations as required during periods of crisis activation.
