| Position Role: SO2 Equipment Support Responsibilities: 1. Provision of ES advice to Bde Comd and all OPCOM, TACOM and ADMINCON Regular and Reserve Units within Bde AOR. 2. ES input into CSS planning for Ops and Trg. ES O&D (mil & civ) for the command and the formulation of ES policy within Bde AOR. 3. Planning and monitoring equipment availability and fleet management requirements of NI equipment. 4. Management of the In barracks Equipment Support Strategy within NI. 5. Resource management of NI Civilianized Military Vehicle (CMV) Fleet, CRB, ES Contracts and LDL activity. 6. Maintenance of Engineering Standards - conduct TECHEVAL audits of OPCOM units and oversee ECIs, providing advice and assistance. 7. Monitor ES infrastructure. Provide HoA reports for Regular REME soldiers within AOR and career advice. 8. Focus for REME Corps issues and dissemination of Corps policy in NI. 9. Any other tasks delegated by the Brigade HQ. |
