| Domestic Considerations - The post involves occasional evenings & weekends. Due to its front facing nature it does not suit routine working from home. Due to the size of the JMC Centre AOR and the Split nature of the JMC HQ a UK current driving license is essential. The permanent duty station for this role is Chetwynd Bks in Chilwell. MS Referral is required. Diplomatic soft people skills & the ability to work effectively across cultures with both children and adults is key. Position Role - Responsible to the SO1 Engt for the delivery of Engagement within the JMC Centre AOR iaw Comd's Intent. Responsibilities - 1. Assist the SO1 Engt with the coordination and delivery of engagement activities in support of JMC outputs. 2. Liaise with employers and local authorities in collaboration with RFCA and RSCD representatives. 3. Update and deliver Engagement Practitioner's Course, including creating modified training as required for Ops. 4. Identify engagement opportunities within the AOR ensuring that the resource requirement is achievable and the output is worth the effort. 5. Advertise, plan and coordinate the delivery of engagement events as directed by the Engagement CofC. 6. Use the engagement MIS as a campaign tool to deconflict engagement activity across Bde and national boundaries. 7. Co-ord G9 branch staff on behalf of the SO1, ensure all activity is deconflicted across all units and stakeholders and are relevant to the JMC Plan. 8. BPT Conduct at least 2 days of UK Resilience Ops training and BPT act as an MLO or RSOI lead on orders if a UK Resilience operation is called. |
