A motivated and passionate service person will encourage and deliver this essential part of the pipeline that delivers people to Defence roles.

Position Role: To provide information, guidance, and advice on all aspects of military life, roles, and career opportunities to potential candidates.

Responsibilities
1. Act as Lead UOTC/UAS/URNU, Rejoiners and Non-Traditional Entry CA. Perform Line Manager responsibilities
2. Act as the main point of contact for all candidates within the Contact Phase from initial enquiry through to successful completion of application.
3. Conduct 1 to 1 appointments virtually or in person to support and nurture candidates on their recruitment pathway. Facilitate supervised DAA
4. Support the Career Centre manager in directly advising candidates on key referrals, including unsuccessful candidates at various steps.
5. Ensure process efficiency; continually monitoring the ongoing quality and governance functions to support the development and improvement of processes.
6. Ensure accurate and relevant records are created and maintained on AFRS system for all In-Service Transfers and Re-joiners.
7. Assist in administrative support activities within the Recruiting Sourcing Re-Joiners team as directed by AFR policy.
8. Support Outreach Team events, including provision of careers advice sharing personal experience of life in the AF to engage and inform candidates.
