Two vacancies have arisen for Sergeant OR6 Any to serve as Digital Learning Developer (Cyberspace Support) at the Defence College of Air and Space Operations (DCASO) at RAF Shawbury on Volunteer ex-Regular Reserve Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 01 August 2026. This is a unique opportunity for a technically skilled, creative and enthusiastic SNCO to shape and deliver modern digital training within the DCASO.
The role combines learning design, application development and innovation in training delivery: building and maintaining engaging online training and revision aids to support 400+ trainees per annum. These are exciting roles which will directly support the College’s continued move towards modern training delivery using collaborative and active learning techniques. The post holders will have significant autonomy with remote working opportunities, flexible working options and a high degree of independence in recommending and shaping the future of digital training delivery at the DCASO.

TORs- Design and deliver interactive digital learning content
- Develop and maintain PowerApps and automated workflows to enhance training delivery
- Lead administration, evaluation and technical support of the VLE platform
- Evaluate and adopt emerging learning technologies, integrating these into the DCASO training environment
- Engage with trainers, Subject Matter Experts and FS Learning, Technology & Innovation Centre
- Comply with RAF information governance, DPA, and IM policy
- Support both staff and learners across DCASO and interface with wider RAF digital and learning systems as required
- Support, administer, and maintain the learner IT system used to enable access to training, learning content, and associated digital services.
