A vacancy has arisen for a Flt Lt and People Ops to serve as Ve RR Service Funds at Based at RAF High Wycombe but primarily Working Remotely on Volunteer ex-Regular Reserve Terms and Conditions of Service (TCo S), with an initial proposed start date of 17 March 2027.
To provide assurance to Hd People Services and Managing Trustees on the Legal, Financial and Reputational risks provided by the operation of Service Funds on University Air Squadrons and Units.
- Carry out Sage, bookkeeping or equivalent, professional accounting support to Units, University Air Squadrons and Reserve Squadrons as required.
- Lead on assurance for University Air Squadrons and act as additional SQEP to support HQ Air Service Funds, to cover queries in their absence or assist with Assurance to RAF Units.
- When Accounting Sections are in challenging circumstances, provide onsite ‘Tiger Team’ support and training where specific issues have been identified that require priority resolution.
- Provide updates on Service Funds policy documents; AP3223 and AP3223A.
- Provide Sage technical support for troubleshooting and resolution in conjunction with unit accounting sections.
