Position Role: SO3 IA&O is the principal staff officer in 3 (UK) Div responsible for the planning and integration of IA&O effects during warfighting.
Responsibilities:
1. Principal 3 Div staff officer responsible for shaping and informing the Div,s requirements across the Defence information activities, NATO and PAG.
2.On deployment, assume the role of SO3 IA&O in the Division, responsible for planning and delivery of IA&O effects in support of the Division.
3. Lead engagement with IA&O partners in NATO, US Army, Estonia, and other nations as required. Lead engagement with IA&O partners in NATO.
4.Divisional lead for IA&O force development. Responsible for engagement with 77 Brigade to represent Divisional requirements.
5. Develop and enhance the IA&O effects employed as part of the Division's MD CONOPS. This includes leading engagement with PAG-C.
6. Act as the Division's focal point for liaison with 77 Brigade for all IA&O engagement.
7. Responsible for the integration of IA&O into CTG and Divisional exercises, coordinating with both the units, Div G35 and LWC.
8. Where required, represent the MD Ops Gp across the Division, and support the Commander as a Staff Officer within the Group.
