Position Role: Technical staff officer responsible for managing live, virtual & constructive simulation systems & technical fields for UK collective training.
Responsibilities:
- Provide military link into on-site contracted training enablers - principally Saab Training Systems (STS), Cubic Defence UK and Cubic LVC UK.
- Oversee the delivery of Tactical Engagement Simulation (TES) user training and TES Instructor support to BGs during FTX.
- On-site technical SME for all TES and technical related business.
- Assess, articulate and staff the CRTC user requirement to LWC, CTG and DE&S (TSSP) for TES and technical instrumentation.
- Manage & conduct regular performance review of in-service contractor provided live simulation services for delivery of Foundation & Mission.
- Maintain an awareness of doctrine, lessons learned and TTPs for use in the delivery of technical training.
- Technology trials officer for potential new developments and lead on training exploitation and innovation within CRTC.
- Assist in the requirement and development of Synthetic Wrap (SW) provision on behalf of CRTC.
