Position Role: Provide technical advice and guidance involving all Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Information Systems (C4i).
Responsibilities:
- Lead G6 advisor to Comd CTG. Principal CIS planning officer, focal point for ICS and CIS matters and providing SME advice to CTEs.
- Liaise with Fd Army and Army HQ for the CTETP and CTTP to ensure the implementation of all future tactical and strategic CIS to CTEs.
- Collaborate on commercial projects, formulating and reviewing SORs to introduce new CTG ICS/CIS and Data Exploitation capabilities.
- As the contract manager for CIS/ICS related contracts, ensure requirements are met, KPIs are tracked and stakeholder engagement managed.
- Administer approval for purchasing of CIS/ICS, providing oversight of CTE telecommunications and communications infrastructure budgets.
- Provide Crypto support to CTEs, ensuring locations are JSP 440 compliant and that annual assurance inspections are carried out by HQ Fd Army.
- Liaise with overseas CTEs in all CIS technical matters - Including frequent travel to overseas CTEs.
- Advise R SIGNALS personnel employed within CTG, providing career management, development and fulfilling associated MS responsibilities.
