Position Role: Lead Staff Officer for Capability Development in the Army Training Branch responsible for assisting in the development of new training capabilities in support of Army Training.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Trg direction and guidance in the design and delivery of Modernisation of Training (ACP deliverable 2.3.5).
- Provide Trg direction and guidance in the design and delivery of Future Soldier (ACP deliverable 2.2) & modernisation programmes.
- Provide Trg activity to enable effective pan-Army Training Research & enable D Futures role in transforming trg (ACP deliverable 2.3.5).
- Identify Trg capabilities, concepts and innovations that will improve Army Training.
- Support AH Trg Strat in the delivery of Training capability for the Army.
- Assure mandated Force Dev T-DLoD tasks pertaining to Trg Cap iaw ACSO 3248 and JSP 822.
- Manage the Training Cap Functional Capability Working Group on behalf of AH Trg Strat.
- Assist and advise D Cap non-Training specialists to ensure Trg Capability is delivered effectively for new mandates/programmes/capability.
