- SO1 lead for all G5 activity CTG, particular focus on the Land Training System and CTTP/ACTS.
- HQ focal point for all contracted support to training.
- HQ lead for transition to the Army Collective Training Service (ACTS) ensuring successful integration and delivery.
- Principal oversight of the CTG 5-year collective training plan.
- Line manager for SO2 Plans.
- Deputise for COS CTG as required.
