Unit Role: Task Force RAPSTONE is an Army initiative to accelerate the procurement, integration, and fielding of novel technologies to rapidly increase battlefield lethality and digitisation.

Position Role: The WO1 Capability Delivery and Integration coordinates rapid acquisition efforts within TF RAPSTONE.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain precise records of rapid acquisition decisions, funding, and risks and track equipment ensuring accurate NAO records.
  • Support governance and assurance activities and ensure compliance with Army and Defence policies.
  • Collaborate with formations to develop WARDEV options aligned with AKSA goals.
  • Support TF RAPSTONE Plans team with communication strategies. Attend Fmn WARDEV boards, cohere SITREPS and act as the Rapid Acquisition front door.
  • Manage capability development from industry collaboration to development by focussing on priorities set by LAER and Commander Land Forces.
  • Analyse feedback from operations, WARDEV, and experiments to improve capability delivery.
  • Act as a trusted link between TF RAPSTONE and stakeholders. Translate complex technical into clear advice and improve situational awareness.
  • Work across RAPSTONE projects, providing advice, expertise, and contributing to delivery outcomes.
