Unit Role: To conduct strategic analysis and reviews of future commercial contract requirements in DIO to develop the recommended delivery options.
Position Role: Provision of military requirements expertise to the programme of Facilities Management (FM) contracts, sustainable engagement with FLCs, and evaluation of industry capability.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Tri-Service FM subject matter expertise advice to the military requirements team and DIO Customers on project requirements.
- Inform and support all stages of procurement: from pre-concept to in-service.
- Maintain liaison with TLBs on functional requirements and ensure their coherency with current policy and strategy for FMPD.
- Conduct requirements capture and analysis activities.
- Maintain a strong and effective stakeholder network to support current FMPD business output.
- Maintain and manage relationships with all TLB customers and commands; ensure coherency with current policy and strategy for FMPD.
- Provide technical support to the relevant project commercial team at all stages of project development.
- Undertake Operational Readiness Reviews to support management of Contractor interfaces on Exit and Transition activities; this may include training delivery.
Pre Appt/Deployment Trg: Fully conversant with the MOD procurement process and regulations, ability to use MS Office, Managing Defence Contracts and Contractor Support to Operations DLE online training.
Other Comments: Working in a predominately civil service team. Personal development training such as iWFM and APM is supported.
