Domestic considerations: Attendance at Wednesday evening training during University term time, 5x weekends and 2 week ADX (usually in June).

Responsibilities:

1. Lead for all Unit G4 activity, maintaining accounts in accordance with current regulations and advising the Commanding Officer on compliance issues, discrepancies and associated risks.

2. Manage and assure materiel accounting and inventory control, including stocktaking, reconciliation, Dues In and Dues Out transactions, MJDI, and audit.

3. Manage the procurement, receipt, storage, issue and disposal of stores and equipment, ensuring activities are conducted in accordance with current policy and regulations.

4. Maintain clothing, stores and equipment to meet operational and training requirements, including the issue of kit to new recruits and the management of cross-servicing arrangements.

5. Act as Building Custodian, responsible for the management of unit stores, furnishings and infrastructure; reporting defects, coordinating maintenance activity, and supervising contractors undertaking works on behalf of RFCA.

5. Lead for unit Safety, Health, Environment and Fire (SHEF), conducting inspections, audits and compliance checks.

6. Prepare, coordinate and support all logistics, accounting and compliance activity associated with internal and external inspections, including LSA&I and Equipment Care inspections.

7. Monitor and implement changes to logistics, accounting and equipment management policy, ensuring that regulatory requirements are communicated, applied and enforced across the Unit.

8. Maintain the facility to the required standards of security, housekeeping, equipment care and accountability, ensuring the Commanding Officer’s policies are fully implemented.

9. Act as the Deputy Unit Security Officer.

10. Any other tasks as directed by the CO.
