Domestic Considerations: Must be prepared to daily commute to RHQ and travel across AOR to outreach activity and Sqns in Blackpool, Chorley, Stockport and Liverpool. Occasional weekend and evening work required to support outreach activity.

Position Role: ROSO, Principle Recruitment and Welfare Officer with the unit.

Responsibilities:

1. Appointed as Unit Welfare Officer, produce, implement and monitor the Unit Welfare Plan and mange unit welfare issues. Lead on WISMIS/VRMIS/VRM as directed.
2. Plan, manage, deliver and report on the Unit Recruiting plan, identifying and exploiting regional recruiting stakeholders incl 2Med Gp, Hq North, DARRCAT, NRC.
3. Oversee the recruiting and selection process, conduct Outreach and Regional Engagement and Recruiting activity.
4. Command the Unit Recruiting Team; line manage and reporting on unit ReMSOs.
5. Appointed as Unit Engagement Lead, produce manage and monitor the Unit Community Engagement Plan.
6. Support the CoC in delivery of Defence Directives on Employer Support. Produce, implement and monitor the Unit Employer Support Plan.
7. Provide mobilisation and welfare support to unit staff, reserves, family and employers during and post mobilisation.
8. Support the Adjt with Potential Officer training, focusing on the application process and development activities.
