Position Role: Working directly to the Executive Officer; RTWO has overall responsibility for the planning and coordination of all unit training up to Battlecraft Syllabus up to training level C. RTWO will support individual and collective trade and military training for all cap badges and will work closely with Sub-Unit SPSIs and others, providing training direction and policy assurance. The development of a good working relationship with external Bdes and CD CSS is an essential requirement of this post. Responsibilities: 1. Planning, coordination and execution of all training for army reserve soldiers & officers’ IOT prepare them in support of UK and overseas exercises or operations. 2. Assist the XO with preparation of the Force Commitments Estimate for Brigade submission in line with CFA planning direction. 3. Monitoring of individual and collective training at Sqn level. Provides advice to all SPSI’s; conducts assurance and validation of training. 4. Single Tasking Mechanism Principal Manager: In addition to the Input, maintenance of accurate data, monitoring and management of RSD budget. 5. Resourcing higher formation tasks with workforce and or equipment against mandated outputs. 6. Advise the CO on safe systems of training / Duty Delivery Holder responsibilities. 7. Deputise for XO during periods of absence. 8. Additional role specific tasks as directed by XO and CO. |
