Responsibilities:
- To enable training through the administration of the Platoon for all exercises, ranges, lessons, and activities.
- Coaching and monitoring of Recruits and Permanent Staff, respectively.
- Responsible to teach Drill for Recruits (once qualification is held).
- To assist in the delivery of training in support of JNCOs in areas such as SAA, TCCC, PT, and Fieldcraft.
- To assist in the delivery of ranges as either an RCO or as safety.
- To maintain Platoon discipline and to mentor and develop the Training Team JNCOs.
- Responsible to manage the welfare of the recruits and Permanent Staff, ensuring they receive adequate support.
- To provide advice to and deputise for the Platoon Commander as required.
- To supervise/validate JNCO instructional delivery for their Platoon.
