A vacancy has arisen for a Squadron Leader to serve as RAFD SO2 DS 19A at Shrivenham on Additional Duties Commitment Terms and Conditions of Service (TCo S), with an initial proposed start date 02 Mar 2027.

Unit Function

To deliver world-class education and training to leaders in order to develop the intellectual edge needed for success on operations and leadership in government.

  • Position Role
  • Intermediate Officer Development Programme – Training Officer

Responsibilities

  • Establishment of TOs in consultation with HQ 22 Gp.
  • DSAT compliance.
  • Trg validation.
  • Development of trg solutions.
  • Assure quality of course delivery.
  • Oversee staff CPD.
  • Represent RAFD in formal and informal meetings as required, where trg is the main issue.
  • Advise chain of cmd on emerging education / trg requirements esp with regards to adult learning methodology.
  • Implement a coaching programme for DS to complement formal DS Observations.
  • Prepare and deliver staff trg events.
