Domestic Considerations: FTRS Limited Commitment may require periods away from normal work location, some weekend and evening work required to support Army Reserves. Standard late night Wednesdays and 16 day ADX in Summer recess.
Position Role: Quartermaster Glasgow and Strathclyde Universities' Officer Training Corps.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide logistic support to the Unit, manage and control relevant materiel accounts.
2. Responsible for the accounting of relevant stores, equipment, vehicles and materiel in the Unit.
3. Unit lead for the provision, management and assurance of transport and movement requirements as MTO & UDO.
4. Ensure the Unit is prepared for annual assurance regime (incl LEA, LSA&I, SHEF & FHPA).
5. Act as the establishment lead for engagement with site stakeholders.
6. Support HoE in the management, delivery and assurance of site infrastructure, SHEF and security.
7. Lead, manage and professionally develop all personnel within the QM's Department.
8. Additional role of Unit Welfare Officer.
