A vacancy has arisen for a Sergeant any Trade to serve as a QA Advisor at RAF Marham on a Full Time Reserve Service (Home Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 02 November 2026 (or earlier/later, subject to candidate status).
Working within Safety & Assurance, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of all Quality Assurance (QA) activity at RAF Marham, in support of the Stn Quality System Coordinator for UK F35 operations and Station output. In addition, the administration, delivery, and coordination of the Station’s approach for compliance in accordance with the Unit Quality and Continual Improvement Manual.
As part of a dynamic team, the post holder will be required to work alongside military, civilian and industry partners, to ensure effective processes are in place to achieve the requirements laid down in the Manual of Airworthiness Maintenance Procedure (MAM-P) and AP100-10.
Responsible for, but not limited to:
- The maintenance, progression and trending of Ltng QORs, IQAs, Task Audits and SA reports.
- Carrying out Task Audits as directed by the QSO via the QSC.
- Capture revisits from QA documentation.
- Acting as Quality Assurance SME and point of contact for QA related issues across the Unit.
- Trending Quality Assurance related data to identify areas for improvement and exploitation opportunities using Defence Ideas & Power BI.
- Carrying out Internal Quality Audits as directed by the QSC and maintain X700 auditor currency
- Acting as mentor for recently qualified auditors working towards X-700 status across the Unit.
- Aid auditors to maintain the accuracy of their Audit Logs.
- Maintaining the F4820As for the Sqn.
- Data gathering and documentation provision for the IQA preparation.
- Maintenance of the Quality Assurance related computer records and databases.
- Carrying out any other tasks as commensurate with the grade, as delegated by the QCIT Management Team, as required.
- Manage and maintain the S&A 6s roster.
- Assist the QSC/DQSC with the planning and execution of the station IQA programme.
