| There are three main aspects to this role: 1. Co-ordination and management of the Sustainment School. 2. Oversee Regimental Recruiting. 3. Regt Welfare Officer. Domestic Considerations: Must be able to travel to Grantham daily. Also work some weekends and evenings. Responsibilities: 1. Manage and deliver administrative support to the Sustainment School following Regt, Bde and DCSp policies. 2. Supporting the XO co-ordinate the delivery of all courses run by the Sustainment School, supported by the trade SMEs (SMI/RSWO/DTWO). 3. Supporting SO 497 and SO 498 to enable Staff training within the Sustainment School and provide a focus for loading the Staff Cohort onto external and NATO courses (LOGFAS, JLOC etc) supported by the SPSI/PSI. 4. Support the delivery of the Unit Recruiting and Retention Plan (in conjunction with the OC RRMT/RCMO/UESO), including line management of the REMSOs. 5. Be prepared for ARRAT/Ofsted Assurance visits. 6. As Unit Welfare Officer, produce, implement and monitor the Unit Welfare Plan and provide a discrete and confidential welfare service to soldiers and their families. 7. Provide timely input data to CO, XO and RCMO for all returns as directed and at monthly meetings. 8. Carry out any other duties as detailed by CO. |
