| Responsibilities: 1. The delivery of G1-G8 Activities; including, but confined to: a. The management of all information and activity on JPA, including career management, pay and HR functions. b. Provide security advice and assistance to the Sqn, including the completion of all returns and the updating of Sqn level policies. Liaison with G2 at Bde Regional Bde and submission of mandated returns using ARMS2. For 591 Sqn direct liaison with 38X may involve further detailed security requirements. c. The day-to-day management of facilities, this includes the management of contractors, access and the management of works services, via HRFCA. d. The management of all SPS inspection level activity within the Sqn. e. Manage all aspects of line management for civilian staff and the day-to-day supervision of the Perm Staff and ADC/VTOD personnel. Including the completion of Appraisals where necessary. f. In the absence of the Sqn Comd element, complete all necessary reports and returns and attend any specified conferences. g. Maintenance of the Sqn 8005 in consultation with the Reserve Chain of Command (RCMO). h. Ensure that all CHURCHILL/RAPS and PPS activity is completed as necessary. i. DURALS Manager for the Sub Unit. 2. IT security within the sub unit, management of IT Sy trg, and the reporting of issues up the CoC. 3. Management of IT within the Sqn, including the submission of all business cases and advising on the reporting of faults. Undertake LSO activities and manage ModNet account activity. Oversee the Sqn SharePoint page. 4. Advise the Reserve chain of command on all aspects of G1 to G8 activity within the sub unit. When required be capable of undertaking the duties of OC and 2IC concurrently with PSAO duties. 5. Manage Sqn Service Funds, ensuring all activity is conducted in line with SFR. Maintain accounts and ensure that the account remains audit compliant. 6. Liaison with Reserve Forces and Cadet Association, local councils and other agencies within the Sqns AOR. 7. SHEF manager for the sub unit ensuring all SHEF and Food Safety Regulations are complied with. 8. Environmental Waste Manager/ Energy warden. |
