A vacancy has arisen for a OF2, Any Trade to serve as PAGC Corporate Governance at Preston on Full Time Reserve Service Limited Commitment (FTRS(LC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TaCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 12 Apr 27 or earlier if achievable. This will vary, due to the requirement to complete both DV and PAG clearance which can take c12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Providing direction to and oversight of the Command’s Corporate Governance system to ensure compliance with MoD and cross-Government departments.
  • Leading the HLB annual compliance (ICAR/IACF/FRMMM/Fraud) to assure Audit Risk and Assurance Committee (ARAC).
  • Managing HQBS Fraud Risk Register and improve controls on DTMI and JPA overstated claims/requests.
  • Instigating HLB financial policy instructions.
  • Acting as the EPC holder for HQBS and as HQ Co-ord for all TLB returns (GRH/Col/OH/Comd Appst/Fraud).
  • Oversee the day-to-day financial business of providing HQ & support sub-Units, thereby allowing Business Units to deliver real time cyber capability.
  • Ensure that the principle of value-for-money is applied across all aspects of HQBS expenditure.
  • Design & lead in engagement with PAGC to advise and deliver further Reserve capability including funding across the partnership.
