Primary Purpose: RNCF DCOS is responsible for the management and coordination of N1 issues across the Royal Navy Cadet Forces and is to deputise for the RNCF COS.
Accountability: RNCF DCOS is accountable to RNCF Chief of Staff for routine daily activity.
Authority: RNCF DCOS is authorised to:
- Represent Comd RNCF in matters of direct relevance to RNCF issues.
- Liaise directly with the Marine Society and Sea Cadets, any organisations involved in uniformed youth activity (Scouts Association, Girl Guiding UK etc), the Army and RAF Cadet Organisations, and RF&C.
Principal Tasks:
- Lead on the management and coordination of N1 matters across the RNCF.
- Coordinate the management of N1 complaints and investigations including responses and recommendation application.
- Develop and cohere N1 policy across all elements including for cadets and adult volunteers.
- Lead on N1 issues associated with SDR growth strategy.
- Represent the RNCF at broader RN Senior WO engagements.
- Act as the focal point for Leadership and Culture development across the Force.
- Cohere N1 data and analysis to enable collaborative management and inform developmental work.
- Support wider RNCF information coherence.

- 2RO: DComd RNCF
Location: Portsmouth but hybrid/remote working acceptable.
