Responsibilities |
- Lead the development and implementation of Apprenticeship Standards across the Naval Service.

- Liaise with and support Branch Managers in the development and implementation of branch-specific Apprenticeship Standards.
| |
- Identify and develop opportunities to expand and enhance Apprenticeship Standards to support the professional development of Naval Service personnel and align with government skills priorities.

- Manage Apprenticeship funding models, financial planning and forecasting to support effective programme delivery and sustainability.

- Implement and maintain apprenticeship policies across the Naval Service, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements.

- Represent SO1 Pipeline Accreditation at Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), Skills England (SE) and Tri-Service forums, supporting stakeholder engagement and the delivery of accreditation objectives.

- Administer, coordinate and maintain Naval Service Apprenticeship Programme documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance and the effective support of continuous improvement activities.

- Attend and represent the Naval Service at Apprenticeship Ambassador Network events, sharing best practice and benchmarking apprenticeship activity to support continuous improvement.

- As required, to undertake Establishment duties in accordance with their rank or rate.
