The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

To enhance the MCofOC in deployed units around the World by delivering a range of mentally and physically challenging yet enjoyable Adventurous Training activities. To provide high level enabling support to the RN AT headquarters centrally delivered concentration programme with specific focus on Alpine Skiing and Ski Mountaineering, Alpine Mountaineering, Winter Mountaineering and Rock climbing. It is expected that the role will be active for 8 weeks per annum.

Responsibilities

  • Provide RN AT HQ high level SQEP in Alpine Skiing and Ski Mountaineering, Alpine Mountaineering, Winter Mountaineering and Rock climbing attributable to UK and overseas AT concentrations.
  • Where required act as the Chief Instructor and be responsible for delivering the specific training requirements of Alpine Skiing and Ski Mountaineering, Alpine Mountaineering, Winter Mountaineering and Rock climbing.
  • Where required act as the Trade Specialist Advisor on the ground during concentrations in which they are participating.
  • Support AT HQ in the assurance of delivery during concentrations in which they are participating.
  • Provide technical advice during concentrations in which they are participating.

This role requires a person to travel around the UK and Overseas undertaking the key responsibilities of the role. Ideally the role where possible should be filled by a person who has completed an assignment at JSMTC or as the Senior Instructor at NOCG. This role is a maximum of 60 days per annum.
