Subject to formal establishment, Joint Boarding process and sS Policies a vacancy will arise for a OR9-OF2 to serve as SO3 Joint Personnel Recovery at IWC, RAF St Morgan on FTRs (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 01 Jul 26 (or earlier/later, subject to formal establishment and candidate status).
Unit Function: The Integrated Warfare Centre’s (IWC) mission is to optimise and adapt the current integrated force, through concepts and warfare development, supporting UK and NATO joint commanders to achieve operational advantage over adversaries, across the continuum of competition.
Position Role: Coordination of Personnel Recovery (PR) and Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Extraction (SERE) lessons learned as well as main interlocutor between Training Provider and Lead Command organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Support SO2 JPR as the IWC Subject Matter Expert for SERE Training.
- Maintain, coordinate and provide analysis on PR and SERE Lessons Learned to the TRA and Training Provider.
- Support the PR and SERE Training Delivery Authority in the Design and Development of UK PR and SERE Training.
- Provide SME support to develop Collective Training opportunities for PR and SERE, incl reintegration.
- Represent the CSOC as the Lead Command at various national SERE meetings/events. (SERE WGs, CEBs etc.)
- Represent the CSOC as the Lead Command at international SERE meetings/events. (PRSAR WG, MCDC etc.)
- Supporting JPRA LO, EPRC LO and Reintegration Psychologist with SERE expertise.
- Delivery support to the Training Provider in extremis by agreement with individual and 1RO.
