Unit Role: Front Line Unit, 3 Cdo Bde

Position Role: Officers Mess Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Be the point of contact for management of Hele house, including the co-ordination of repairs and reporting of defects.
  • Be responsible for all Officers Mess Building Manager duties; including liaison with MPGS & CGF re: access for non-military personnel.
  • Maintain the Mess Property Book and A in U.
  • Arrange, cost, supervise & co-ordinate all Mess functions and be the Master of Ceremonies for formal functions.
  • Allocate accommodation and raise charges.
  • Service Funds trained; manage all bar stock and mess accounts; allocate accommodation and raise charges IAW current unit policy.
  • Liaise closely with Contract Manager to ensure that contracts are fulfilled and supervise subordinates.
  • Accountable to PMC through Mess Sec.
  • Conduct Regimental Duties as required; TRiM, CNO or VO duties.

Performance Attributes:

  • Professional Effectiveness: Must ensure that all compliance and assurance is maintained iaw policy.
  • Initiative: Must be able to operate with minimal oversight.
