Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for an OF3 to serve as SO2 Station Security at Shrivenham on FTRS (HC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 01 Aug 2026.

Position Role:
SO2 Station Security (Establishment Security Officer - ESyO) is responsible for all aspects of Security at MOD Shrivenham Station, alongside the management of Vetting Services, Security Passes and the application and compliance with JSP440 and other MOD security policies and SOPs. Line Manager for SO3 Sy, MPGS and POC for MGS.
Responsibilities:
1. Advise MOD Shrivenham Station CO on their management of security and associated risks and act as the senior Intelligence Officer across Station.
2. As the ESyO, act as lead POC for all matters relating to the security of MOD Shrivenham Station and its lodger units.
3. Responsible for JSP440 compliance and STRAP regulations. Ensure MOD Shrivenham Station Security policy is compliant with JSP440 and JSP503.
4. Support the MPGS command and act as POC for the MGS in the delivery of its security on Station. SO3 Sy line management responsibilities.
5. Lead Station-wide Security exercises as directed by Station CO, CSOC & JSP 440.
6. Deliver the Sy Risk Mgt (SRM) cycle for Station and Lodger Units (including Critical Assets where applicable).
7. Lead POC & SME for all Sy matters across Station, and the management of Vetting and Security passes for MOD Shrivenham Stn.
8. DefAc UK Security Working Group functional lead. Responsible for the coordination, training and liaison for all Unit Security Officers on Station.
