RSDs: 78. Domestic considerations: Commuting into Aylesbury required on a semi-regular basis to attend training nights (3 times a month on a Tuesday).

  • Command and manage the Sqn, including all aspects of training, administration and operational readiness.
  • Maintain standards of materiel management and Equipment Care in accordance with Service policy.
  • Oversee the delivery of the Sqn to Collective Training Competence and Readiness criteria commensurate with the CO’s direction.
  • Oversee the career management and continuous professional development of subordinate military personnel and civilian staff, meeting MS reporting responsibilities in accordance with JSP 757.
  • Meet the targets and comply with the CO’s Directive, support initiatives as directed.
  • Control budgets and ensure Sqn administration is carried out in accordance with Service Regulations.
  • Maintain discipline of the Sqn and exercise delegated powers as required.
  • Provide representation and community engagement liaison across the Sqn AOR on behalf of the CO.
  • Support Regimental tasks, initiatives and objectives as directed.
