- Command and manage the Sqn, including all aspects of training, administration and operational readiness.
- Maintain standards of materiel management and Equipment Care in accordance with Service policy.
- Oversee the delivery of the Sqn to Collective Training Competence and Readiness criteria commensurate with the CO’s direction.
- Oversee the career management and continuous professional development of subordinate military personnel and civilian staff, meeting MS reporting responsibilities in accordance with JSP 757.
- Meet the targets and comply with the CO’s Directive, support initiatives as directed.
- Control budgets and ensure Sqn administration is carried out in accordance with Service Regulations.
- Maintain discipline of the Sqn and exercise delegated powers as required.
- Provide representation and community engagement liaison across the Sqn AOR on behalf of the CO.
- Support Regimental tasks, initiatives and objectives as directed.
