Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for an OF4 to serve as Learning Capability and Development Education and Individual Training Advisor (LCaD E&IT) at Shrivenham on Additional Duties Commitment (Up to 180 days) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 01 Sep 2026.

DefAc delivers world-class education and training to leaders in order to develop the intellectual edge needed for success on operations and leadership in government.
Position Role:
Provide Education and Individual Training (E&IT) focused advise to internal and external customers across the Defence enterprise, NATO and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Provide UK Defence policy aligned E&IT consultancy to the Defence enterprise, NATO and Partners to support the Defence Academy mission.
- Provide NATO policy aligned E&IT consultancy and advice to the Defence enterprise, NATO and Partners to support the Defence Academy mission.
- Provide E&IT consultancy to organisations developing E&IT policy and support manuals.
- Provide E&IT consultancy to Defence enterprise, NATO and Partners to support both the Training and People lines of development.
- Represent the Defence Academy and present at E&IT events within the UK and overseas and support E&IT elements of visits, delivery and Defence Engagement within UK and overseas.
- Develop and Deliver E&IT packages for Defence enterprise, NATO and Partners in the UK and overseas.
- Assist/advise DefAc and UK Def E&IT organisations to conduct Organisational Learning.
- Advise DefAc on Service Inquiry and Coroner’s Inquest E&IT linked recommendations.
