The Integrated Warfare Centre is to optimise the integrated force through concepts and warfare development, affording joint commanders operational advantage over adversaries, across the continuum of competition.
Position Role
Defence Experimentation and Wargaming Hub (DEWH) Wargaming Team Member (four positions)
Responsibilities
1. Within a multidisciplinary military, Dstl and industry team, conduct wargaming activities utilising the Analysis-Led Wargaming Framework (ALWF).
2. Facilitate and data capture wargaming activities maximising use of technology including AI, data capture, analysis and reporting programmes/capability.
3. Develop the skills required for wargaming data capture, analysis, design, control, facilitation, and project leadership using the ALWF.
4. As Lead Analyst develop Data Capture and Analysis Plans, applying qualitative analysis to provide valid and verified evidence in report writing.
5. As Lead Designer use understanding of game mechanics and wargaming technical skills to design rigorous and effective wargaming activities.
6. As Project Leader and designated Crown Servant own the delivery of all aspects of a wargaming activity including project management, commissioning, funding and progress reviews.
7. Be prepared to support DEWH COS and DEWH SNCOs as required, performing associated duties as required.
8. Undertake general duties and tasks pursuant to rank as required.
