Subject to formal establishment a vacancy may arise for a Flt Lt (Pers Trg)/FS or a WO (Pers Trg – RAF PTI)/FS or MAcr Aircrew WSOp (AM) ALM or Flt Lt Pilot (AM) to serve as part of the Air Safety Cell Team at RAF Brize Norton on ADC Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of being not before 04 January 2027 (or later, subject to candidate status). This role does not attract specialist PJI pay.
Flight Safety Occurrence Manager for Air Mobility Force (AMF) Parachuting and Fixed Wing Air Systems. The individual appointed to this role will hold delegated authority from RAF Brize Norton Commander Air Wing (CAW) to review completed Flight Safety Reports and assess whether investigations have been conducted appropriately. This responsibility includes examining the submitted evidence and making an independent evaluation in accordance with their Delegated Letter of Authority (LOA). Based on this assessment, they will either approve the closure of the report or return it for further investigation. To maintain impartiality, they will operate independently to CAW through the Air Safety Manager.
