Position Role: SO1 International HQ JSCSC - To manage and deliver JSCSC Defence Engagement Strategy and operational activity.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the JSCSC Intl course member invite, acceptance and assurance process for HCSC, ACSC, ACSC(R) in accordance with the MOD FAB process & JSP 510.
2. Support the management of JSCSC Intl course members and staff with their CoC. Undertake casework where engagement with MOD, FCDO & Intl embassies.
3. Manage Intl visits to and Intl visits from JSCSC with HQ DefAc to ensure mutually effective outcomes; support Dir JSCSC & SLT.
4. Plan and execute the JSCSC Defence Engagement Strategy, developing and maintaining JSCSC's relationships with overseas command and staff colleges.
5. Develop relationships with wider DefAc elements and externally, to ensure effective, coherent, policy compliant DE activity.
6. Deliver the annual British Students Attending Overseas Staff Colleges Course.
7. Deliver, in conjunction with MOD & PJHQ, the twice yearly MOD Civil Service Operations and Crisis Policy Cadre Course.
