FTRS(HC) RAO responsible for G1 administration for a Hybrid Unit of approx 280x ARes personnel and 60x Regular personnel. The role will change during tenure due to WAVELL. The role currently delivers administration for 460x ARes personnel across 5x Units. During late 2026/2027, the role is due to become responsible for all personnel in a single Hybrid Unit. The responsibilities below define the enduring role that will come into effect late 2026/2027. Interested individuals should contact the Unit to discuss roles and options in detail.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Lead for all personnel administration outputs, regular and reserve, of the Unit HR Dept to ensure Unit G1 readiness and operational effectiveness.
- Lead the career management, welfare and mentoring of all HR Dept personnel, military and civilian.
- Lead for all relevant personnel management checks and internal assurance processes in compliance with Defence and sS policy.
- Unit Checking Officer for Unit public funds, JPA iExpense Auditor (as req'd) and Internal Auditor for Service Charitable Funds.
- Conduct the duties of unit Data Protection Advisor and IMgr.
- Lead on Unit information, data governance and assurance and improvements in Unit KIM maturity on behalf of SIO.
- Contribute to and support Regular and Reserve outputs as directed by the CO.
