Subject to formal establishment, Joint Boarding processes and sS policies, a vacancy will arise for a OF3 to serve as SO2 Engagement Events at Northwood Headquarters on Voluntary Training or Other Duties (VTOD) Terms and Conditions of Service (TaCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 1 Jul 26. Up to 100 RSDs per year are available for the right candidate to perform the role.

Unit Function

Cyber and Specialist Operations Command (CSOC) is the driving force behind integration and the enabling foundation for Defence’s enhanced global posture.

Position Role

Support delivery of Engagement Events and Defence Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2027 for CSOC.

Responsibilities

  • Support the SO1 Engagement Events in the delivery of a strategic engagement programme including the planning, administration and execution of DSEI 2027 to enhance the reputation of the Command and wider Services. This will include coordination of the stand, speakers, panelists and VIP diaries.
  • 2IC of the delivery team and C2 of all team members.
  • Communicate with all stakeholders involved in events to ensure they are informed and aligned. Oversee invitations and registration logistics, so that the participant experience is seamless. Work with WO Events to ensure logistics for each event are delivered at the right level.
  • Deliver high level briefings for Comds up to 4*. Regularly engage with the SLT and outer offices of Subordinate Organisations, plus the delivery teams. Ensure all are fully briefed and kept informed via use of Sharepoint pages, Teams and appropriate staff work.
  • Responsible for all coordination of all Working Groups involving the SLT and MAs and other delivery teams.
  • Support the Parliamentary, International and Communications teams as time permits.
