Position Role: Staff officer responsible for RMAS (Academy) Defence Engagement. Works closely with SO1 Engagement as the link between the Academy and College staff, UK and foreign Def Sects, and Army/Defence training and DE organisations.
Responsibilities:
- Staff officer for RMAS Defence Engagement activity.
- Development of, setting, implementing, and assuring Defence Engagement policy pan-RMAS through advice to CoC and SOI development.
- Liaison with, and support to activity of MOD DSP, Army International Branch and wider DE organisations within Defence that impacts/concerns RMAS.
- Plan and execute DE activity, including Intl visits and briefing RMAS staff on key DE considerations.
- Manage the relationship between RMAS and countries that send personnel to RMAS on matters that concern OCdts. Provide guidance to the CoC on managing international OCdts.
- Wider RMAS tasks as directed by CoC.
