Local Considerations | |
The DTEO is based in HQ Northwood and whilst flexible working patterns are possible, face-to-face engagement in location is required. Main place of work will be NWD, but applicant should expect time within MMB as part of the role. Access to S and AS CIS will be essential, obtained from within NWD. Travel both domestic and abroad will be required for some parts of the role. Employer Comments | This post would benefit from a Cap & Acq / procurement specialist with Targeting and digital awareness. A history of work within defence Tech & Data will be particularly relevant while the DTW focus is on digital underpinnings, but must encompass the full pan-DLOD elements necessary to provide truly coherent delivery. Currently the role is directly supporting the build of the Targeting Lead Command function, Programme of Record and DTW. The nascent state of both the PoR and the DTW offers a multitude of opportunities for exposure to strategic requirements and delivering for the Integrated Force. It requires a highly capable and resilient, self-starter with drive, vision and a willingness to think laterally, challenge norms and coalesce a diverse x-DLOD community of senior Defence stakeholders. Experience of agile methodology and managing large projects and programmes would be a distinct benefit although can be acquired in-role. | |
